 blithe: showing a casual and cheerful indifference considered to be callous or improper; happy or joyous
mason: a builder and worker in stone
robust: strong and healthy
melodious: producing or having a pleasant tune; tuneful
implement: a tool, or other piece of equipment, especially used for a particular purpose
perspective:  a particular attitude toward or a way of regarding something; a point of view

Three Sisters:  A Native American planting system.  Farmers planted their fields with three plants - corn, squash, and beans together
symbiosis:  interaction between two different organisms living in close physical association, typically to the advantage of both 
industrialization:  the development of industries in a country or region on a wide scale
monoculture:  the cultivation of a single crop in a given area
hybrid:  the offspring of two plants or animals of different species or varieties such as a mule ( a hybrid of a donkey and a horse)
integrity:  the quality of being honest and having strong moral principals; moral uprightness
rotation:  the action of rotating around an axis or center; the action or system of rotating crops
staple:  a main or important element of something, especially of a diet

I received my Bachelors Degree from CSULA in Liberal Studies,I earned my teaching credential (CLAD certified) from Cal Poly Pomona and I have my Masters of Science Degree from Walden University in Reading Literacy.

I have been teaching for 20 years, and within those 20 years I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th. 

My husband and I have been married for 24 years.  He is also a teacher (23 years), 6th grade in Rowland Unified.

We have two wonderful sons (Josh 23 and James 17), and a beautiful 3 year old German Shepherd named Sadie.

I love teaching and I look forward to a fulfilling year of learning and fun with your child.
