Thursday, October 5th will be a non-pupil school day and faculty members will be available to meet with parents and students to discuss their academic progress during the first grading period. Conferences will be held from 11:30am to 2:30pm and again from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. You will begin by picking up your student’s report card in the MPR. This Wednesday, August 30th at 6:00pm, Charter Oak High School would like to invite you to our annual Back To School Night. After a brief PTSA meeting, parents will experience a “day in the life” of their student by following their class schedule and meeting each teacher. Each class will last about 10 minutes where the teachers will have an opportunity to present their classroom rules and expectations. This is a very important event that should not be missed. Join us for our annual Fun Run on Sunday, September 17th at Charter Oak High School. All runners will receive a FREE T-Shirt, pancake breakfast and competitive electronic chip timing. The 5K early entry fee is $27 and the mile early entry fee is $15. Medals are given to all youth 1 mile runners and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals for all 5K runners in each age category. Registration must be received by September 6th to receive the early bird discount. All funds raised support the students of the Charter Oak Unified School District. We wanted to take this opportunity to inform you of a change that will take place starting the first day of school. The crosswalk on Cypress Avenue just south of the tennis courts is no longer in in operation and has been relocated on the east side of the railroad tracks in front of the fire station. Please be advised that any pedestrian who attempts to walk across the street outside of the new designated crosswalk will be breaking municipal code and will be subject to a citation. Charter Oak Online Enrollment allows you to quickly start the process of enrolling a brand new student from any internet device. Information about the student such as emergency contacts, medical and language information will be collected. Upon completion, the school-site is electronically notified.
This Enrollment process is NOT necessary for any student that was enrolled during the 2016-17 school year and is moving up to the next grade level. Only NEW students wanting to enroll in Charter Oak Unified School District need to complete this process.
