    $20 Sports Physicals

    These special-rate physicals will be offered only at the COHS Physicals Fundraiser on Thursday, May 16. All athletes planning on participating in any summer camp or sports next school year should take advantage of this opportunity.   • Senior Movie Night

    Senior Movie Night

    Senior Movie Night is Thursday, May 23rd in the Gym. Gym opens at 6pm, movie starts promptly at 6:30pm. This event is for Charter Oak High School Seniors Only (bring school ID for check-in). Hotdog, chips and drink provided by ASB. Snack bar will have additional drinks and snacks for purchase. Outside drinks will not be permitted! - Mrs. Bauer

  • Senior Refunds

    Senior Refunds

    If you have a refund coming from the cafeteria and it is under $20.00, you can come by the cafeteria to claim your refund. If the refund is over $20.00, you can contact food services at 966-8331 Ext 90521. You will be refunded in August 2019. Time range for refunds will be now through May 24th. Refunds are for Seniors only. ~Ms. Harms

  • Cyber Security Club Competition

    Cyber Security Club Competition

    This past weekend, a team of programmers representing Charter Oak participated in the High School Programming Competitions The HSPC is an exam consisting of 8 incredibly challenging problem solving questions, of which sophomore Ameya Phadnis and junior Zacarias Bakker were able to answer a question correctly. Ameya, along with fellow sophomore Dibyesh Sahoo also competed in the igniteCS Programming Expo. Ameya's first place finish and Dibyesh's second place finish led the field of nearly 200 participants. Congratulations to our brilliant future computer scientists!

  • COHS Choir Spring Production

    COHS Choir Spring Production

    COHS Concert Choir, Women's Choir and ACE are presenting their spring production "Cinemania!" next week on Friday, May 17th and Saturday, May 18th at 7 pm in the theater. Tickets are available online at or from Mrs. Portnoy in L2. They're singing music from movies like The Hobbit, Saturday Night Fever, The Muppets, Furious 7, Shrek, Bohemian Rhapsody, A Star is Born, The Graduate, and more. Many teachers are offering extra credit for attending including: Ms. Coriaty, Mr. Edmundson, Mr Harte, Ms. Shabani, Mrs. Klein, Mrs. Dagata, Mr. Smith, Mrs. Rivera, Mr. Long, Mrs. Grung, and Mrs. Bernal. Don't miss it!

  • Mt. Sac Workshop

    Mt. Sac Workshop

    A Mt. SAC Registration Workshop will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 (Late Start) during periods 1-4. Sign-up sheets are located in the library. If you have attended any of the previous workshops you WILL need to attend this one as well to be eligible for their programs. Missed the workshops? You can still attend! Simply, make sure you have applied to Mt. SAC prior to this workshop. Please note: The period you choose to attend, must be during an elective class. The location has changed to room B7. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Clayton.

    Next week we will be launching our Anti-Bullying campaign with activities going on all week during lunch and we encourage all of our students to take part in the events. Monday kicks off with an Extreme Rally featuring X Game Athletes and a live MC. The rest of the week will feature quad activities and competitions between classes to see which class is the most committed to creating a positive school community here at Charter Oak High School. ~Administration

New Student Enrollment

  • Charter Oak Online Enrollment allows you to quickly start the process of enrolling a brand new student from any internet device. Information about the student such as emergency contacts, medical and language information will be collected. Upon completion, the school-site is electronically notified.

    NEW student (new to the district) registration on the August 8th, 9th & 10th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm by appointment. On the 11th it will start at 9:00 a.m. by appointment only also. 

    Please call the high school office at 915-5841 to make your appointment. 


    Online Pre-Enrollment for 19-20 is open now!


    This Enrollment process is NOT necessary for any student that was enrolled during the 2018-19 school year and is moving up to the next grade level. Only NEW students wanting to enroll in Charter Oak Unified School District need to complete this process.
