I have taught at Cedargrove for 31 years! I began teaching 4th grade and
stayed there for 9 years, then moved up to 5th grade for 4 years and took a
4/5 combo for 4 years. I Spent another 3 years in 5th,then had a
5/6 combo, now teach GATE for the past eleven years and am loving it!
I went to Cal State Fullerton for my Bachelors degree and continued my
education at Claremont Graduate school where I got my Masters Degree in
Education. Since then, I have taken 20 units beyond my masters and received
extended training in Gifted education through the California Association for
the Gifted and the USC Summer Institute for the Gifted.
I received the Honorary Service Award on 2004, served on School Site
Council, Ran Student Council, Served on the Leadership Committee as the 6th
grade lead teacher, served as the Common Core Math lead coach for 6th grade
in the district, and served as the coach for PBIS at Cedargrove.
I have 3 children of my own, Miklos who is 28, who works full time.
Erika, 27, also working full time and Britny,23, a junior in college.
Miki works full time for an Electrical company and enjoys all out door
activities. Erika is a fitness trainer/ coach for Sweat Fitness and San Dimas High School
and Britny attends Chico State in Chico.
I love horses and working out at Team Sweat Fitness Gym in
San Dimas. I also teach cycling for the gym. I have been married for 31
years to my High School sweetheart! And we are still going strong. I love
teaching and love the students as if they were my own, this is why I've been
here so long!
