  • AGNES TRAN

Posted by Camille Strycula on 5/3/2018

Amazing Agnes is up next on our list. AGNES TRAN has been accepted into six prestigious universities. Way over on the east coast, Swarthmore College and Brown University have offered Agnes admission. Swarthmore has one of the lowest acceptance rates in the nation (that means it is hard to get in!). Brown also boasts a low acceptance rate with over 95% of its students coming from the top 10% of high school seniors.  In addition, Swarthmore is offering a scholarship award of over $55,000 per year and Brown has a tempting offer of $26,000 per year. Wow—you have made us proud Agnes! The state of California would also like Agnes to become part of one of its prestigious colleges—UCLA (has the largest applicant pool in the nation), UC San Diego (the second most popular school in the country), UC Irvine, and UC Berkeley have all offered admission. Lastly, two other well-respected universities have wait-listed Agnes: Cornell University or Columbia University could also be in this outstanding charger’s future. Congrats Agnes!! You have some great choices.

  • KAYDEN CORNELIUS

Posted by Camille Strycula on 5/3/2018

We have a new college acceptance record. Big shout out and congratulations to KAYDEN CORNELIUS who has been accepted into TWELVE universities. UC Riverside, UC Irvine, San Diego State, Cal State Chico, Cal State Monterey Bay, Sonoma State, and Cal Poly Pomona would all like Kayden to be a part of this fall’s freshmen class.  There are a multitude of private colleges interested in Kayden as well. California Lutheran University, the University of La Verne, the University of Redlands, Chapman University, and Whittier College have all offered fall admission. Chapman is offering Kayden the opportunity to add a Leadership Studies minor to her program of study. This is something that students typically cannot do until they have completed at least one semester at Chapman AND are recommended by a faculty or staff member. The college is also offering a Dean’s scholarship of $16,000 per year. Wow, good for you Kayden! Not to be outdone, Whittier College is offering the John Greenleaf Scholarship of $30,000 per year—that is $120,000 for Kayden’s undergraduate degree. In addition, Redlands is tempting Kayden with an Achievement Award of $28,000 per year which totals $112,000 over four years.  Similarly, the University of La Verne is awarding the President’s Scholarship of $22,000 per year for a total of $88,000. Lastly, California Lutheran is giving Kayden the Provost Scholarship with an annual amount of 24,000—your turn to do the math. Chargers our proud of you Kayden!

Tyler has been accepted into 3 colleges—two are local and one is in Northern California. Both La Verne University and Cal Poly Pomona would like Tyler to join their new group of freshmen this coming fall. La Verne is offering Tyler the Pace Founder’s Scholarship of $16,000 per year. Way to go Tyler. Lastly, Holy Names University in Oakland California has offered Tyler a spot with them. So what will it be Tyler—are you a future Leo, Bronco, or a Hawk? We are proud of you. Congrats.
