Posted by Camille Strycula on 5/15/2018

*EVA ORTEGA deserves a big shout-out.  She has been admitted into nine universities for this fall. In state: Cal State San Marcos, Cal State Fullerton, San Jose State, Cal State Long Beach, Azusa Pacific University, Vanguard University, and California Baptist University would all like Eva to join their freshmen class.  To entice our Charger APU is giving Eva its $19,000 President’s Scholarship for a total of $76,000 over four years! This particular scholarship is given to only the top 5% of students who enroll. Similarly, Vanguard is offering its Presidential scholarship of $20,000 per year, and CBU is offering a Trustee’s scholarship of $13,500 per year. Wow, good job Eva. If Eva decides to go out of state, two Arizona colleges would like her to join their outstanding schools: Grand Canyon University which is offering Eva its Presidential Scholarship of $7,750 per year and Northern Arizona State University. You have some amazing choices Eva. Let us know what you decide!

You rock! Lily has been accepted in Azusa Pacific University’s nursing program. This is no easy feat. The program is outstanding and very competitive—less than 15% of the applicants are chosen. Way to represent the Chargers!
