    COVID-19 Parent Update #0 - March 12, 2020

We continue to closely monitor information and developments regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19). The Charter Oak Unified School District is taking additional steps – out of an abundance of caution – to safeguard our students, staff, and campuses.

Wednesday evening, we received notification from LACOE that Los Angeles County moved to Scenario II. The reason for this designation is there have been two or more community (LA County is considered one community) transmission cases of COVID-19, however no individual within a school has tested positive. There are currently no known cases in the Charter Oak community.
