At Charter Oak Unified, our Payroll Department ensures that every employee is paid accurately, on time, and in full compliance with all state and federal regulations. We process biweekly payroll runs, manage withholdings and deductions for benefits, retirement, and taxes, and handle direct deposit setups and year-end W-2 distributions. By maintaining precise records, coordinating with Human Resources on leaves and salary adjustments, and providing responsive support for payroll inquiries, we help our staff focus on what matters most—educating and supporting our students—while safeguarding the district’s financial integrity.
