Dear Charter Oak families,

As we enter this season of gratitude, I want to take a moment to reflect on all that makes Charter Oak Unified such a remarkable place to learn, work, and grow.

I am deeply grateful for our educators who give 100% every single day to inspire, support, and challenge our students. Their dedication, creativity, and heart are the foundation of our success.

I am equally grateful to our families who entrust us with their most precious gift, their children. Your partnership and trust mean everything to us, and together we are helping our students reach new heights.

We are grateful for our community, which consistently shows up with encouragement, generosity, and pride. Charter Oak truly shines because of the way we care for and support one another.

This year, we are also proud and grateful to be recognized among the 2025 California Honor Roll Schools for demonstrating sustained academic growth in both English Language Arts and Math over the past three years. This distinction belongs to all of us: students, staff, and families alike.

Our gratitude extends to our student athletes who have shown resilience, teamwork, and excellence, especially our football and water polo teams who dominated this season and made us all proud.

We are also thankful for our thriving Visual and Performing Arts programs. Our marching band continues to shine as one of the top-ranked programs in the region, our talented actors brought holiday cheer to our community with their joyful performances of Holiday Inn, and our exceptional choir is preparing for an unforgettable performance at Carnegie Hall this spring.

When you look around Charter Oak, it is clear: this is more than a district. This is home. This is family.
