Measure CO Update
The Charter Oak USD Board of Education approved the third and final drawn down of the $47M General Obligation Bond in November, 2018. The funds will be used to complete the final Priority 3 projects that were approved by the Board of Education at their October, 2018 meeting.
The Board of Education approved projects to be competed include:
- Perimeter security fencing at school sites
- Learning Resource Centers at the elementary schools
- LED interior lighting and energy control systems at all sites
- Technology equipment at all school sites
- Sunflower campus school painting, irrigation, and locker room demolition
- Security camera systems at various sites
- Dugouts, batting cages, and scoreboards at COHS
Measure CO construction projects in progress are:
- 2 new Gen7 classrooms at Willow Elementary School
- Learning Resource Centers at Willow and Washington Elementary Schools
